Notwithstanding today’s increasingly accurate weather forecasting, you will be running in the mountains,  notoriously unpredictable and unforgiving for the ill-prepared. This Equipment List will differentiate between two different expected weather conditions as well as the 4 races:

Good – cool/warm temperatures, little/no wind, no rain

Variable – any chance of extreme temperatures, wind and/or precipitation

Compulsory Equipment compliance will be monitored through a series of official and random Spot Checks at Registration, at the Start, at Checkpoints and anywhere along the course, and at the Finish. Any infringements will be dealt with according to the Race Organisers’ discretion, including but not limited to time penalties and disqualification.
